The Beach Boys Petting the Goats - Co-Signed Print

$10,000.00 USD

The Beach Boys seen here at the legendary photo shoot for Pet Sounds at the San Diego Zoo on February 10, 1966. The photo is an unreleased outtake from the famous sequence in the petting zoo with the goats that produced the cover for the original album. The shoot was a conscious effort to reflect the style of the mid-60s with the clean cut hairlines and striped and plaid shirts giving way to more contemporary clothes and hairstyles that reflected the band's evolution from surfing music to embracing the emerging California music sound they had spawned. Photographed by George Jerman.

This print is part of an exclusive limited edition run of only ten prints personally autographed by Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine to celebrate 60 years of The Beach Boys. The signings with the band occurred between August and September of 2022.

Archival digital print. Printed on 100% Cotton Rag Platine 310gsm. Limited edition of 10 in each size.
